Vermont is known for their beautiful natural landscapes, but there is so much more about this state that is so beautiful.


Natural landscapes

Since Vermont is home to some of the most unique and beautiful landscapes it is only necessary to mention some of the famous areas. Many activities such as skiing, hiking, swimming, and boating are some great activities that you can do on your trip to Vermont! The Green Mountains of Vermont are most known for their natural landscape and there is plenty to explore. With a span of 250 miles of terrain you can enjoy an abundance of outdoor adventures!


Stowe Vermont

The town of Stowe is located in northern Vermont with a great view of the highest point of the green mountains of Mount Mansfield. This town is known for being one of the best ski areas due to the narrow mountain passes. Smugglers notch is also located in Stowe this national forest is known for having a dense forest and many hiking trails. Stowe also has many unique shops and restaurants to explore on your trip!



Lake Champlain

Did you know that one of the great lakes is shared in Vermont? Yes! Lake Champlain is shared between the green mountains of Vermont and Adirondack mountains of New York. This fresh water lake stretches 107 miles long which is plenty of room for activity. Many great activities to do on your trip to Lake Champlain are boating, fishing, swimming, and enjoying some of the best views.


Covered bridges

The state of Vermont is home to over 100 covered bridges. The longest covered bridge in the United States is also located in the state but is also shared with New Hampshire. This bridge is known as the Cornish-Windsor Bridge, this bridge is 154 years old and is 449 feet long. This bridge also goes across the Connecticut river.
